Banana Sugar Body Scrub
Don't judge a banana by its peel ! Banana's nutrient-rich flesh is a great skin moisturizer and works perfectly as the base of a sugar scrub. Simply mash one banana with three tablespoons of granulated sugar, a teaspoon of olive oil, and a few drops of vanilla extract or any oil of your choice. Get in the shower and before turning on the water, massage the mix all over. Rinse. Feel sweet and smooth. For a quick facial, reserve some of the plain banana (without sugar) and massage on your face, leave on for a few minutes and rinse with warm water.
Did you know Oats are your skins best friend? It can keep your skin silky smooth and extra healthy. To make this mask all you need is oats and water (rose water is recommended). It is easy as 1,2,3. Take oats and grind them into a fine powder--grind enough so you can store in a container and use it when you need it. Now, just take one tablespoon of your grinded oats and add some water that will make it a pastey substance. Apply to face and let it dry a bit (10-12 minutes) and scrub it off. This home made scrub leaves your skin smooth and gets ride of the dirt and dead skin that has been lingering on your face.
Awakening Body Scrub
Wake up and smell the coffee! All you need for this scrub is 1 1/2 cups of coffee grounds, 1/2 cup sea salt, and olive oil. Mix ingredients, hop in the shower, scrub scrub scrub and rinse. The aroma of the coffee fills up your whole bathroom, which is ideal for a "pick-me-upper". This body scrub is equivalent to drinking a cup of coffee, except that, you're in the shower soaking your skin.
Cinnamon Ginger Body Scrub
All you need for this scrub is a 1//2 cup of vegetable oil, 1/2 cup of honey, quarter cup each of grounded cinnamon, ground ginger and soda, 5 teaspoons of vanilla extract. Mix them all together till it forms a thick reddish brown paste. Apply all over your body and let it settle in for a few minutes then, rinse off with warm water.
Sugar Scrub for Lips
