Get Excited! Fashion Week Is Here; Plus, FNO: The Show Review
Are you ready?

Bienvenue! Fashion week is here, and we couldn't be more excited. Our highlights for today include: Vena Cava, Christian Siriano, Farah Angsana, Daniel Vosovic and many more. Vogue has relaunched its site, vogue.com, by capturing a first-look preview from the Brooklyn duo of Vena Cava and Oliver Theyskens for Theory. We expect to see plenty of color, rubber-choker pieces and motif jewelry from Vena Cava, alongside structured tailoring from Theyskens. And, we couldn't ask for anymore. Could we?

Tuesday night, Anna Wintour & Co. kicked off Fashion's Night Out with a public runway show. Tickets to the show sold out within hours, but Vogue's Andre Leon Talley and blogger/vogue.com contributor Hanneli Mustaparta did the honors of fully covering the show for cbs.com - featuring live post-show interviews with the Proenza Shouler boys, Gisele Bundchen, Serena Williams and more. In good taste, Mustaparta donned a halter and printed full skirt look from the Fall 2010 Proenza Schouler collection (Look 29). As expected, Talley's commentary was full of humorous one-liners - enough to make us believe fashion's elite aren't always and forever going to be uptight and frowning. If you missed the live streaming of the show, CBS has all of the coverage for you viewing pleasure on their site.

As for the overall event; 10 gorgeous supermodels arrived on a Fashion's Night Out covered double-decker bus, donning FNO belted t-shirts and draped floor-length skirts. Models included: Gisele Bundchen, Naomi Campbell, Jordan Dunn, Chanel Iman and more. There were 171 looks from Fall 2010 shown from some of today's leading supermodels - models who walked circles in synchronized form around guest - dressed accessible pieces from Prada to Theory; all currently available for sale. Naomi Campbell closed the show in a stunning gown to a live performance from the band N.E.R.D. Pharrell Williams of N.E.R.D. rode away from the show, with the models in tow, on the double-decker bus, encouraging the crowd to shop this Friday during the offical Fashion's Night Out event.

We encourage you, too. Fashion week is off to a good start, and we hope you continue to visit the site for full runway and backstage coverage. We look forward to seeing many of our readers out during Fashion's Night Out and at Joonbug's Spring 2011 Fashion Week Gala, in collaboration with Elle's Style 360. Have a great week!
