Fergie and QVC Stomp Out Breast Cancer
Shop for shoes and help the cause

This October, QVC will be selling brand-name shoes at half their retail price, with all net proceeds donated to fund breast cancer research and education.

Tune in to QVC on October 15th for the “FFANY Shoes on Sale” event to choose from one of the 100,000 pairs of discounted shoes that have been donated by footwear companies. Fergie, the 2010 spokesperson, will also be contributing 100% of all the proceeds from the sale of the Hope shoe from her Fall 2010 collection: a pretty, pink pump that’s priced at $45 (also half its original retail price).

If you can't catch the televised event, QVC is offering the same mega price slashes for name-brand shoes throughout the whole month. Starting October 1st, a different shoe will be offered each week whose proceeds will help in the search for a cure.

In its 17th year, FFANY has sold more than one million pairs of shoes and donated over $32.5 million to breast cancer research. This October, the official Breast Cancer Awareness Month, buying shoes may just save a life.
