Now sit back and welcome the New Year with some stiff gin and laid-back friends.
Unattractive object right? Hey, looks aren't everything. You'll be thrilled to have this when the awkward friend of the group wants to start karaoking at the adult New Year's party.
If karaoke is an every weekend kind of hobby for them than you might have an issue. Needless to say, don't think your friend will notice what kind of microphone it is if the drinks are flowing.
Just hand them this soundproof microphone and even the most tone deaf entertaining-ish person will bring in the new year with the perfect tune.
The crowd’s thunderous voices count down to midnight, everyone kisses, raises a glass and the singing starts. The lyrics and voices always start out strong for the first two lines but than the voices fade out as people become lost. Does anyone really now the rest of the lyrics for Auld Land Syne?
Blame it on to many cocktails before midnight or bad memory but the singing at the party is never like the movies. To fix the confusion, here are the lyrics. Good luck remembering them.

NYE party plans? Check. LBD? Check. Bedazzling eyes? Check - once you've watched YouTube sensation and beauty guru Michelle Phan's tutorial below, that is. In this episode, she dishes out her recipe for a gaze so glamorous that once you've locked eyes with that dreamboat across the bar, he won't be able to look away.
Sounds great, right? And it's super-easy, too. Phan always makes her various guises look like effortless (how does she do it without a mirror?!), but this look really is quite simple and only requires a few key products beyond what you most likely already have.
6 large lemons, thinly sliced
1 1/2 quarts brandy
1 lb lump sugar
1 large block of ice
orange and lemon slices
First disolve the sugar in boiling water then remove from heat and add the lemons. Mix the sugar syrup with brandy and let it sit over night. Finally, to serve, pour the mix over a large ice cube into a punch bowl and decorate with orange and lemon slices if desired. Enjoy your Bimbo Punch.
Space is always limited in our tiny evening clutches, understandable because no one wants to dance the night away with a brick on their arm. This year, you'll have more room for cocktail cash because we found five products to keep you looking fresh all night long.

Meat on a stick is one of those fundamental rights of every person on the planet. Whether it's corn dogs or popsicles there is a singular brand of magic when mundane food stuff is impaled with bamboo and enjoyed portability like any cell phone on the market. Well my food infatuated friends I bring you... KEBABS (courtesy epicurious.com). What's so special about kebabs? Well aside from the aforementioned practicality of stick mounted food, these particular kebabs are armed with their own minted yogurt and black pepper dipping sauce.
