Vodka Likes Cranberries More Than Turkey
Ladies (and gentlemen?) I present you with a new pink cocktail of epic proportions. The cranberry-lime sparkletini is sure to chip at the wall of inhibitions while tickling one's tongue into a euphoric bliss. (I'm not exaggerating, I swear!) 1 1/4 cup fresh mint leaves, mottled 1/3 cup limeade concentrate 1/4 cup cranberry juice 1 cup vodka 1 cucumber, peeled and sliced into wheels 1 1/2 cup carbonated water Gold or silver fleck (optional; available from goldleafcompany.com) Mix everything except for the Gold fleck (if using) and carbonated water in a large pitcher and allow to marry in the refrigerator for at least two hours. After ingredients have married, strain and return to the pitcher. Then add the carbonated water and gold flecks. Pour into a martini or cocktail glass and serve.
Respect the Classics
The hot toddy is as essential to the winter holidays as eggnog or Santa Claus. It somehow manages to combine the best things of the season: rum, cinnamon, apples, and butter. Now that I have your attention, I present you a map to tradition. 2 or 3 ounces dark rum Twist lemon peel Stick cinnamon 2 cloves Sweet cider or water 1 tablespoon sweet butter Nutmeg

Warm a kettle by rinsing it with boiling hot water. After dumping the water pour in the rum and add lemon peel, cinnamon, and cloves. Then boil the cider/water and pour into the rum. Add the butter and stir everything together. Pour into a mug and grate some fresh nutmeg to garnish. Add sugar if desired.

Is That the Fourth Kardashian Sister?

The Kardashian sisters are notorious for their enviable party style and to-die-for wardrobes. And what better night to showcase both together than on New Year's Eve?

All three Kardashians glittered and sparkled while popping bubbly at LAX last year. Luckily, sequins and shine are still in style for this holiday season, and there are plenty of options for a girl on a budget.
