September may have been slammin', but October is even better at 116. There are events galore happening at this historic venue and there is a 2-for-1 happy hour every night until 9pm (even during events). Whether you're into LOLing, poetry readings, singing your socks off, or listening to others sing their socks off, there is an event (or two, or three...) for you at 116. Bipolar Express

116 introduces a new biweekly comedy event to balance out an unstable week, fusing NYC’s top alternative and club comedians in a depression-fighting gang bang.

Free Healthcare

A comedy show with a misleading title. Hosted by Ryan Conner (contributing writer for SNL, BBC) and Sean Gabbert (XM Radio). October 13 will feature Nat Bargatze (Conan, Comedy Central), Dan Soder (Montreal Comedy Festival), Jeff Maurer (Last Comic Standing), Danny Solomon (absolutely hilarious).
