NYC DJ Jonathan Toubin is reportedly in critical condition after a cab burst through his hotel room and ran him over while he was lying in bed. The DJ was staying at the Jupiter Hotel in Portland, Oregon to do a show, called the 'I've Got a Hole in My Soul' 5th Anniversary Party, when the freak accident occured.

A 911 dispatcher received a call around 11am from someone who explained a "pretty ugly" accident had happened. Paramedics rushed to the scene to find Toubin pinned underneath the front of the car. Local police described the scene as "chaotic."  "(The car) kind of drove up and over the bed and it rested on the back side of the wall." described the local Fire Bureau spokesman, Paul Corah.

The taxi cab driver, 52-year-old Terry Uding, is suspected to have suffered a diabetic shock which caused her to veer off the road and into Toubin's ground floor hotel room. She suffered no major injuries and was released from the hospital later that day.

Toubin is currently in critical condition at Oregon Health and Science University. Well wishes are pouring in on his Facebook page. Our thoughts are with Jonathan and we wish him a speedy recovery!
