This past Saturday, the Canal Room celebrated the opening of its second location in Southampton. Their debut weekend featured a 'Back to the 80s' show with Rubix Kube and a 'Save by the 90s' party hosted by Saved by the Bell's Screech (a.k.a Dustin Diamond), along with a live performance by the Bayside Tigers.
Canal Room Southampton offers up live music performances, themed events, billiard and arcade games, signature cocktails, and a spacious location that accommodates up to 800 people. The original Canal Room is a landmark in the city that never sleeps, welcoming notable celeb guests like Jay-Z, Rihanna, Miley Cyrus, Mark Sanchez, and more.
Canal Room Southampton, presented by Marcus Linial and Sam Lott, features today's hottest cover bands from the '80s and '90s, along with well-known DJs and recording artists. The Southampton venue is a massive bi-level 7500 square foot space; open select Fridays and Saturdays throughout the summer. If this location is anything like its NYC sister, expect there to be many wild weekends in the coming years!
