Joie de vivre: 4 Ways to Celebrate Bastille Day
Get your French on this Saturday!

Also known as La Fete Nationale, Bastille Day is the celebration of  the 1790 uprising, Fete de la Federation. Do all things French on Saturday, from eating French foods (National French Fry Day was yesterday!) to partying like the French do! Here are some places in NYC that are throwing down for the other red, white and blue.

Sky  Room: The swanky rooftop bar is offering up specials in honor of the holiday. Patrons can reap the benefits of 50% off bottles of PJ Grand Brut champagne from 5-10pm (mention code word: revolution), along with a complimentary plate of fresh seasonal berries. Ricard cocktails will also be available for a cheap $5 and anyone sporting a French ID will get into the party 'fo free!

Barrio 47: This hot spot is taking part in the cheap specials that seem to be popping up all over the city for Bastille Day. They will be pouring $5 glasses of Rose wine from brunch until the end of dinner at 2am. That's a LONG time to be drinking at discounted prices, so take advantage!

Dream Downtown: The Gallery at Dream Downtown is allowing partygoers to express their inner joie de vivre with 'French Tuesdays' at their Bastille Day Ball. There will be a special performance by pop musician, GALA, and beverages provided by Heineken and Medoc wines. Tickets for $25-$35 can be purchased here.

L'Afterworks Bastille Day Sunset Cruise: What better way to celebrate the French than with the French?
