Jeepney Makes Its East Village Debut

There’s no doubt that Maharlika put Filipino-moderno cuisine on NY’s culinary map, so it’s no surprise that they're expanding their empire in the making with the debut of a new concept style resto, Jeepney. Opening today, the Filipino Gastropub will feature a no-fuss, grub-style menu, serving up items like chicken-fat wings, king prawns with pork fluff and a longaa burger made with skinless sausage all to be washed down with a variety of on-tap brews and beer cocktails too. Maharlika fans and adventurous foodies alike are in for a treat. Mabuhay!

Jeepney is located on 201 First Ave at 12th St. 212.533.4121

For Dub-Pop-Electro-Indie. All Music Lover

Santigold & Silversun Pickups

You would think the eclectic dub-pop-electro musicianship of Santi White would be enough, but add some equally inventive choreography for a stage show worth checking out. Santigold hits Roseland Ballroom this Saturday. And, on Sunday and Monday at Terminal 5, textured, Grammy-nominated indie-rock group, Silversun Pickups will strike their distorted guitars and bare their unique vocals for the ultimate indie lover.
