Lavo Gets Aokified
Steve Aoki brought champagne showers, stage dives and pure insanity to NYC

First things first, you better recognize that Steve Aoki stays true to his wild ways even when inside a hotspot like NYC's Lavo Nightclub. Thursday night might have as well been a stage at a festival because that's the type of vibes that went on all night long.

Drawing in tons of party-goers, Lavo filled in quickly to the opening sounds of progressive house Queen, DJ Bambi, who kept it going full force churning out the best of the best in big room house beats until 1am. As the lights dimmed and music dulled, Steve Aoki approached his throne for the night and produced an impeccable two hour set that was nothing short of stunning.

Aoki spun a mix of dubstep meshed with electro house all wrapped with true Aoki quip. No other DJ gives a show quite like Aoki and as always, he didn't hold back. Dropping tracks like his collab (video to come soon!) "Pile Driver" with Knife Party and "Beat Down" with Angger Dimas featuring Iggy Izealea, the crowd loved every minute of it.

Someone got a cake to the face, champagne showers were frequent along with many a crowd surfing moments. A proper choice to close the night with his extended mix of Kid Cudi's "Pursuit Of Happiness," Aoki left everyone stunned and already asking when he will make his return to The Big Apple.
