LA Riots To Spin Electric Beach
The best electronic dance party is back at Santos Party House!

After a week off, Electric Beach is back and ready to shake things up again! The weekly series will feature LA Riots this Saturday with support from Mike Russ.

Since LA Riots broke out onto the scene in 2007, now comprised of frontman Daniel Linton, he reinvented a sound that intermixes influences of Indie Rock, Alt Dance and Electro music. Linton has maintained his underground credibility all while going on to remix some of music's biggest pop and rock labels. Linton has crafted the title track on Kylie Minogue’s “Boombox” album, remixed multiplatinum rock icons Weezer and pop-dance phenom Lady Gaga's "Born This Way", all while working on top-selling Sony Playstation games. Not to mention, he has also remixed tracks for a diverse roster of DJ/artists including Tiesto, Laidback Luke and Sidney Samson.

LA Riots was formed on the 15th anniversary of the 1992 Los Angeles Riots, the group was named as a reflection of their aggressive and rebellious sound. An attitude not typically seen in electronic dance at the time which set them apart them from the worldwide DJ pack. By them defying tradition, they went on to achieve multiple successes early on, including becoming North American tour support for MSTRKRFT and the Bloody Beetroots in 2008. That same year they landed on the lineup of Australia’s Global Gathering Festival alongside Kraftwerk, Mark Ronson and DJ Sasha, exposing them to the global masses of dance music fans.
