The first Electric Beach party of 2013 will be an eventful night as DJ Bambi and MAKJ join forces to co-headline the weekly electronic dance music series at Santos Party House this Saturday, January 5, 2013!
DJ Bambi is no stranger to the club scene in the tri-state area. The progressive house queen has established herself as a major player in the DJ realm. She's graced the decks with some of the most recognized producers in the game, such as David Guetta, Avicii, Steve Angello, Hardwell, Steve Aoki, John Digweed, Congorock, and Bob Sinclar. The Dutch-Canadian DJ has also played at the hottest nightclubs such as LAVO, Marquee LV, Provocateur, Roseland Ballroom, CiRCA, Greenhouse, MGM Wet Republic, Liquid, Haze, Boom Boom Room to name a few. She currently holds residencies at The Hoxton (Toronto), Provocateur (NYC) and HQ Nightclub in Atlantic City. Just recently, she played at Pier 94 alongside Steve Aoki, Benny Benassi and Nervo.
Mackenzie Johnson, better known as MAKJ, has been perfecting his skills over the past several years. The 22-year-old has DJ’ed at some of the best clubs including Playhouse, Avalon, Supperclub in Hollywood, Marquee, TAO, and Tryst in Las Vegas, He also performed at last summer’s IDentity Festival in Boston, Washington, and New York, and has played direct support to greats such as Avicii, Armin Van Burren, Steve Aoki, Morgan Page and Wolfgang Gartner. His edits, bootlegs, and remixes have received immense support from artists such as Hardwell, Tiesto, Steve Aoki, Afrojack, Fedde Le Grand, R3hab, Laidback Luke, and Adrian Lux to name a few. The support of these mega producers has earned MAKJ much exposure which has led him into the realm of original production. With that said, he has a handful of new tracks lined up to be realeased this year, including several that Robbie Rivera has hand picked for his Juicy Music label.
