This Sunday, Justin Carter and Eamon Harkin, bring us another weekly installment of the infamous outdoor summer party ‘Mister Sunday.' The location is a cool garden right on a lake, with a bar full of house Sangria for only $8 a glass, accompanied by burritos and burgers for an equally reasonably price.
The venue is equipped with a sizeable dance floor, draped in intimate fairy lights. So while the DJs spin an eclectic mix of chilled house music, you sway under the dim lighting, absorbing the rare moments of tranquility in the city. The intriguing thing to note about Mister Sunday though, is the variety of age groups in attendance. It ranges from young babies all the way to grandparents, including everyone in between, giving it an abnormally comfortable vibe!
The engaging, fun and tightly packed party kicks off every Sunday in the summer sunshine from 3pm - 9pm. The gathering can be found in the idyllic and hipster neighborhood of Gowanus, located at 400 Carroll Street in Brooklyn. It does have a cover charge of $15, however if you RSVP here in advance, they will place you on the guest list for only $10, as long as you arrive before 5pm.
This soothing, enjoyable, and fun-for-all party is one of the NYC’s greatest, as it certainly sets itself apart from the rest!
