The weekend starts now, and we have put together an awesome agenda, giving you just a tiny taste of what Chicago has to offer.  From booze-infused comedy and an epic Miller Lite bash, to dancing in Grant Park and watching T-Swift take on Lil Wayne, this weekend is piled high with fun festivities! 

 

Bye Bye Liver: The Chicago Drinking Play

What better way to spend a night on the town than playing drinking games while watching a hilarious booze-infused comedy act?  If you want to get a true authentic taste of the “heart of Chicago,” come to the Public House Theatre this Friday evening to see Bye Bye Liver. With hilarious sketches filled with uproarious personality, it is an awesome way to spend your fun Friday night. SummerDance

Be amazed as the Spirit of Music Garden in Grant Park goes under a phase change, transforming into an outdoor city dance room.  Get into the groove with a free hour-long dance lesson, taught by talented instructors, before the SummerDance party begins!  Forty-four live bands will be present for you to dance along to, enabling you to show off your learned skills.  Waltz gracefully along the dance floor, cha-cha to the fun beat, or swing, swing, swing, swing.  The festival takes place on Friday evening at 6pm. Click here to learn more. 601 S. Miller Lite Saturday Summer Bash

Brush off your Kentucky Derby hats, break out those glamorous sunglasses, and polish up your finest beer mugs for this epic summer bash.  Local cover bands will be taking the stage, exciting thoroughbred racing will commence, and delicious food and beverage specials will be served on the picturesque Arlington International grounds.  Blind Reflexx will be the cover band performing popular hits this Saturday, August 10th.  In the wise words of Arlington Park, “sit back, relax, and let us do the cooking and entertaining.” For more information on this event, and to purchase your tickets, click here2200 W. T-Swift vs. Lil Wayne

T-Swift is taking on Lil Wayne...in a battle of fans.  This upcoming weekend is full of celebrity appearances in Chicago, but who will you choose to spend your Saturday evening with?  Tay or Lil Wayne?  Lil Wayne will be performing with two guests, 2 Chainz and T.I. at First Midwest Bank Amphitheatre, taking the stage at 7pm.  Soldier Field will be housing Taylor Swift and her beats, along with Ed Sheeran and Austin Mahone (6:30pm).  Click here to buy your tickets for Lil Wayne, or click here if you want to sing along with T-Swift.
