Happy Hour: Catch the Game and Grab a Beer at The Royal
Need an after-work hot-spot to catch the game? The Royal should be at the top of your list

On Tuesday, September 17, Joonbug was cordially invited to The Royal, a sports bar and lounge located south of Union Square on Fourth  Avenue, to sample the chic atmosphere and strong drinks.  The bar stretches the length of the venue lined with ample stools, offering plenty of room for you and your posse.  If you prefer something cozier, however, spacious booths are available in the back.  These booths are also a good option for sports enthusiasts, as they give a direct view of the television sets, which are always tuned to ESPN.

Without a doubt, The Royal is a great after-work destination to enjoy some delicous snacks, tasty drinks, and watch the game.

At Tuesday's event, we sampled the menu's highlights: mozzarella balls, beef sliders, hand-twisted pretzels and meatballs,  While all delectable, the meatballs stole the show; however, there is a new item on the recently vamped up menu that's sure to be a crowd pleaser: slow-cooked chili crammed with spices and topped with scallions, sour cream, and cheddar. So as fall is football and chili season, get your bowlful for only $11.  Bring as many friends as possible--this hot spot caters to groups.

Happy Hour is Monday-Friday from 4pm-8pm
