Artist Nathan Sawaya has added a new piece to his iconic Lego sculpture collection today (November 20), as he unveiled his new masterpiece this morning at Discovery Times Square. Through a process of submissions to the "What Should Nathan Build?" program through Discovery's site, New Yorker Suzan Goldstein's submission was chosen, and thus Sawaya's One World Trade Center masterpiece was born.
The breathtaking sculpture only took ten days to complete according to Sawaya, which is a breathtaking feat given the amount of detail put into the piece. The scupture will be on display from the remainder of Sawaya's 'The Art Of The Brick' exhibition, which ends its stay in NYC's Discovery Times Square on January 5, 2014.
Be sure to catch Sawaya's exhibit before it's gone, and see the stunning new sculpture for yourself!
