IN THE MIXX Fridays at Indulj restaurant and lounge is "one of U Street's best kept secrets" according to the Washington Post. The nine-member ensemble Marlee in the Mixx has musical roots in Neo-soul, R&B, Gospel, Hip Hop, and Jazz. MITM plays both original music and mixes, like their stellar mashup of Kendrick Lamar's "Don't Kill My Vibe." The night goes from 10 p.m. until 2 a.m. with a $10 cover charge.

 The Summertime Sadness Tour comes into town featuring Grammy-winning Cedric Gervais and special guest John Dahlback. Gervais, a sought-after House DJ and Electronic Music Producer, was nominated in 2013 for Best Remix and will start the show at Echostage at 9 p.m. Additionally, DJ John Dahlback, involved in the EDM and global dance scene, will appear as a special guest. Tickets are $30 and the night is 18+

Tea Time DC Sunday

Stephen Norberg, a professional root beer drinker and founder of the Thunder Beast Handcrafted Root Beer, is participating in a cocktail-tasting party featuring his favorite soda. Small bites from The Green Spoon will be offered alongside the mixed drinks and Justin Trawick, a musical artist whose genre ranges from bluegrass to hip hop, will give a live acoustic performance. The event begins at 6 p.m. and tickets are $30.
