New Year's Eve in New York City. It's 2011. Where do you go? What do you wear? Who are the celebs that are going to be rubbing elbows with you at the open bar? Every day until New Year's Eve, we are going to give you the best of the best on where to be and how to have a night to remember to kick off the New Year. Today we continue with the letter ‘E.’

We all know that New Year’s Eve is going to be a night of heavy drinking. But you can also expect some delicious food from some of the best restaurants around New York City during the holiday season. Check out these popular restaurants that will be throwing New Year’s bashes.

Party at Pranna, a sophisticated and exotic restaurant that has been praised by the Michelin Guide for it’s trendy Southeast Asian cuisine. The restaurant boasts a massive 15,000 square foot space and is a leader in the world of fashion-oriented dining and partying.

Head over to the Meatpacking District for a party at STK, a swank, high energy steakhouse that transforms into a full-throttle celebration at night. STK’s New Year’s party will include a delicious selection of hors d’oeuvres from their award-winning kitchen.

Neil Patrick Harris tweeted, “great food, hot vibe” about The Collective, a funky and wild restaurant located in the Meatpacking District. Located on Little West 12th Street, this bar will be poppin’ on New Year’s.
