The New Year’s party at Poppy gets going with a 5-hour premium open bar pouring up hand-crafted cocktails, bubbles, and brews. Guests can dance all night to a live performance from a top DJ spinning the hottest open format Top 40, Hip-Hop, House, and mash-ups. Before the stroke of midnight, raise a glass of complimentary champagne and join the DJ in a high-energy countdown to the New Year as the clock strikes twelve. One of the newest hot locations in LA, Poppy features a design concept that is meant to lull patrons "into an underlying stream of awareness." The location has a marble stone bar, a library-style area with gorgeous wood paneling, crystal chandeliers, and velvet banquettes. The centerpiece of the building is Poppy's atrium, which has a marble checkerboard floor, woven lanterns suspended from lush foliage, a wall covered in hanging crystals, and an accent wall decorated with poppies. The walls are lined with a menagerie of aged artwork and lush vegetation, and the room is brightened by a huge skylight overhead. The Kardashian family, Madison Beer, Jared Leto, Katy Perry, and other A-listers frequent both establishments.
